I used my ACDP to pull the immobilizer data as a safety backup, then ran the AKL sequence with my IM608 through OBD. His smart key, FCC ID , was a -button proximity fob.
His Jeep started in the venue lot while the crew loaded the truck next to us. Total was around 95. Dealer would have been 200 plus a tow. Smart key AKL isn't dealer-only. It's tool-dependent. He was pretty amazed it could all happen right there.
