A delivery driver pulled over at a roadside spot in Imperial Beach had his key snap inside the door lock of his 2007 Acura TL. The blade broke clean off. His remote-head key, FCC ID OUCG8D-439H-A, was a 4-button unit that I rebuilt into a fresh shell with the salvaged chip.

No drilling and no cylinder replacement. His total was $185. The other locksmith's plan would have been $395 or more with parts and labor. His original lock works with the new key exactly like it worked with the old one.
