2003 Infiniti Fx35 Smart Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
A guy in Downtown Santee called me on a Wednesday. He was in a parking structure off the main commercial strip, back-to-back meetings, no way to move his car.
His 2003 FX35 fob had taken a hard drop on the concrete deck the night before. The remote functions were gone. Lock, unlock, nothing. He'd pulled the blade out and got in that way, but when he cranked it, the car idled for a second then cut out. The immobilizer hadn't seen the fob properly, so it killed the engine.
He'd already called the dealer. They told him he'd need a flatbed to bring the car in and wait on a VIN-matched fob to be ordered. Days out, minimum. He didn't have days.
I met him during his lunch break. Pulled up to his level in the structure, popped the hood of my van, and got to work. Verified the blade cut matched what the car wanted, then connected through the OBD port and walked through the registration process. The fob paired on the first attempt. I tested every button, walked the doors, and had him try cranking it himself so he could see it hold idle.
He was back upstairs in under forty-five minutes. The car never left its spot, and he paid a fraction of what the dealer route would have run him, without the tow on top of it.
