I got a call from a woman in Downtown Ramona who hosts short-term rental guests and uses her 2016 QX60 to handle property runs, airport pickups, and supply runs between listings.

Everything worked. She didn't need new programming. She didn't need to wait three days for a part. She saved a good chunk compared to what the dealer quoted, and the whole thing happened in her driveway while she was on a call with one of her guests.
The part that got her was how simple it turned out to be. The dealer never suggested the board was fine because replacing the board means the same labor as replacing everything.
