He was in the long-term lot near the Otay Mesa crossing, not the terminal, which is one of those lots where the rows all look the same and nothing moves fast. He'd flown in from the East Coast, had a territory meeting in about three hours, and his 2018 QX60 was sitting there completely unresponsive. No door unlock, no response from the fob, nothing.

He made his meeting. The dealer would have cost him three days and a tow on top of it. He paid a fraction of that and didn't miss a single appointment.
