2024 Infiniti QX60 Smart Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
A building superintendent over in Otay Mesa West called me on a Tuesday afternoon with a pretty specific problem. He managed a luxury apartment complex, drove a 2024 Infiniti QX60 himself, and was responsible for two company vehicles at the property.
He wanted a spare for his personal car and a spare for each of the two company vehicles. He had already called the Infiniti dealer and gotten a quote. It was a lot, times three, and there was no way that number was clearing the building's monthly maintenance budget.
The bigger issue was logistics. He couldn't take three vehicles off-site one at a time for multi-day dealer turnarounds. A burst pipe or a jammed lock doesn't wait for a service appointment.
I pulled into the complex parking lot around four o'clock. While I was setting up, he took a call about a unit issue, handled it in ten minutes, and came back. That's the kind of day he was having.
I backed up the immobilizer data before touching anything, which is standard practice when you're adding multiple keys to the same vehicle in one session. It gives me a recovery point if anything goes sideways mid-sequence. The 2024 QX60 fob has a four-button layout with the factory FCC ID printed on the back. I programmed all three vehicles, tested every button and every function on each key individually, and we were done before sunset.
Three vehicles, one visit, every spare tested and labeled. He kept everything on-site the whole time. The dealer wanted him to bring each car in separately and wait on ordered parts. That wasn't happening.
