Over near Ormond Beach in Oxnard, a yoga instructor had been meaning to get a spare key for her 2002 Acura CL for months. Then her only master key started acting up.

Green key light came on for two seconds, went dark. That is the signal you want.
Tested ignition three times, tested lock and unlock, let her try it herself. The whole job took about 25 minutes in the lot.
She kept her old key as a backup. Smart move on a car this age.
