2015 Audi S5 Smart Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
A woman in the Poinsettia neighborhood of Ventura had been sitting on the same problem for months. She bought her 2015 Audi S5 used, got one key with it, and kept meaning to get a spare made. The way she described it: she knew she was playing a game she would eventually lose.
She finally called the Audi dealer when the key fob started acting up and the touch sensors on the door handles got inconsistent. They gave her a price that made her pause, told her to schedule a half-day drop-off, and mentioned something about VIN-based key ordering that could add time. She called me that night instead.
I met her at the wine bar patio near her place in Poinsettia. The car was in the lot. I decoded the existing key mechanically at the door, cut a new blade to match, then connected to the OBD port to register the new fob to the vehicle's immobilizer. The fob paired, the touch sensors on both handles were responding correctly, and I walked every function before I packed up.
She had a working spare key before she finished her glass of wine. That half-day dealer appointment never happened.
