An independent Porsche shop in Santa Barbara, over by Bel Air Knolls neighborhood, had a customer's 2010 Panamera up on the lift with the air suspension torn apart. The customer left one key. That key got kicked under a rolling toolbox and dropped straight into the shop floor drain. Gone.

The 970.1 Panamera shares the VAG HU66 keyway I decode on Cayennes and Touaregs every week. I pulled up, used my Lishi HU66 to decode the existing lock, then read the immobilizer PIN through OBD with my VVDI2 in VAG mode. Generated a fresh ID46 transponder chip, programmed it as a new working key, and cut the HU66 blade on site.
Thirty minutes. Engine started clean, no dash warnings, no KESSY faults in the system.
The shop finished the suspension work. The customer picked the car up on time with a new 5-button flip key and never knew anything went sideways. The shop owner just looked relieved. He told me a dealer quoted him days of lead time and a tow, plus the key itself.
