I got a text from someone parked off Del Mar Heights Road on a Tuesday afternoon. He had come from a showing in Del Mar Heights, walked back to his 2019 Escalade, and the fob was gone. He mentioned the dealer was his next call if I had not picked up. The nearest Cadillac store, the wait for an appointment, the tow if they needed the car there. He did not love that option. He got a working key in his driveway in Del Mar Heights instead, for a lot less than that road would have cost him.
