I got a call on a Tuesday from a guy in the Grossmont Area of La Mesa. His 1999 Lexus LX was starting fine, but the remote functions on his fob had stopped responding completely. Lock, unlock, nothing. He'd already swapped the battery, confirmed it was a CR1616, and seated it correctly. Still dead.
