A guy rolls up to me in a parking lot off Broadway because he couldn't get his ignition to turn clean anymore. 1998 Subaru Legacy, looked like it had lived a full life. He didn't buy a single part he didn't actually need. The ignition turns clean, the key slides in without drama, and the fob works the way it should. The dealer quote never came up again after that.
