Start with the CR2032. A battery that measures low on a multimeter can still fail under the load the fob puts on it during transmission. Swap in a fresh one from a sealed pack and retest all four buttons.

If that doesn't fix it, check the fob housing for any cracks or damage around the battery contacts. A slightly bent contact tab can cause intermittent failure even with a good battery seated inside.

If the battery and contacts are fine and the buttons are still dead, the remote receiver in the car or the fob transmitter itself may be the issue. Since the car starts normally, the transponder chip is fine. The remote side is a separate circuit. That's a diagnosable problem, and in most cases it points to the fob rather than the car's receiver.
