I used my TOY43AT Lishi to extract the broken fragment without damaging the wafers inside. The TOY43AT Lishi fits Toyota's keyway and can work around a stuck blade piece to pull it out clean. I decoded the lock from the wafer readings, cut a fresh blade, and programmed the transponder chip through OBD. His key uses a separate remote, FCC ID , so the fob was fine. I just needed the new metal key with the correct chip.
