2017 Audi Q5
Key Replacement - Save vs Dealer in Ventura County

2017 Audi Q5 Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional

I got a call from a woman in the Woodcreek neighborhood of Camarillo on a Sunday afternoon. She had been out in the yard most of the morning and came back inside to find her 2017 Audi Q5 key was not where she left it. She searched the usual places. Then the less usual places. Then gave up and called me.

She was clear about one thing: she did not want to wait until Monday, and she definitely did not want a tow.

I drove out with the equipment to decode the lock and cut on-site. When I got there, the Q5 was sitting in the driveway right where it belonged. I decoded the lock cylinder, pulled the cut data I needed, and made the key on the spot. No tow, no appointment, no three-day wait for parts to arrive at a dealership counter.

She turned it in the ignition right there in Woodcreek and that was it. The dealer comparison came up briefly, mostly because she had already called them and been quoted a timeline that started with "we can get you in later this week." That was the afterthought. The actual job was just a key, cut right, made on a Sunday, in her own driveway.
