I was parked near the South Surfside end of Port Hueneme one afternoon when a call came in about a 2001 Jaguar S-Type. The owner had the key, could get into the car, could drive it fine.
What he didn't have was a working remote. The fob had been dead for months and he had just been living with it, using the blade to get in and out manually every time.
