A tax attorney called me from an office park in the Bubbling Springs neighborhood of Port Hueneme around 10:20 at night. Filing season. She sounded wiped out. Her only flip key to the S-Type was gone. Checked her office, the conference room, the parking lot. Nothing.

I got into the car with my HU101 Lishi, pulled the KVM data through the OBD port, generated a fresh key file, cut the six-cut Tibbe blade, and programmed the remote under parking lot lights. The whole thing took about 40 minutes. She stood there watching and calmed down a lot once the doors locked and unlocked from the new fob.
She drove home that night. A dealer would have meant a tow, a wait until morning, and a bill for way more than what I charged. The VIN is the single most useful thing you can give me when you call.
