A semi-retired architect near the Surfside Drive area in Port Hueneme had been driving his 2006 Jaguar S-Type on a single key since he bought it certified pre-owned. He finally got around to calling the Jaguar dealer about a spare. They told him to bring the car in and plan on leaving it for the morning.

The flip key with FCC ID NHVWB1U241 went through its immobilizer handshake on the first try. I programmed both his original and the new one together, since the S-Type's system demands all keys present during a write session. Tested remote lock, unlock, trunk, and panic, then cycled the ignition twice to confirm the transponder was reading clean.
Forty minutes, start to finish. He never left the parking lot, and he saved a good chunk over what the dealer quoted him.
