Got a call from a guy over in High Street in Moorpark. His 2014 LR4 was sitting in the driveway with zero working keys. One fob went through the washing machine a month ago. The other one just stopped being recognized last week. I showed up with the KOBJTF10A blanks already in the van. Plugged into the OBD port, connected to the KVM, wiped the old fob credentials so neither dead key could ever start the car again. Cut the emergency blade on the HU101 profile, programmed the first new smart key, then the second. Both fobs tested on all five buttons, passive entry on every door handle, and the tailgate release.
The whole thing took about 40 minutes. He just stood there holding both new keys like he forgot what it felt like to have a spare.
