East Ventura neighborhood, right off Telegraph Road. A 2021 Eclipse Cross owner had that modern problem: the dealership wanted him to wait three days for a key appointment.
His OUCGHR-M013 fob worked fine until Tuesday. By Wednesday morning, the door handle sensor ignored it completely. I reflashed the ETACS right there in his driveway, then reprogrammed his existing fob through the OBD port.
Twenty minutes later, everything worked again. Door handles, remote start, walk-away lock. He kept testing it from different angles like he didn't trust it yet.
The dealer would have charged him for a new key he didn't need, plus the ETACS update they should have done under warranty. Instead, he got the actual fix for a fraction of their quote.
