Got a call from a guy out on Round Mountain Trail in Camarillo. His 2010 Saturn VUE was sitting in the driveway with zero working keys. His only key had snapped off in the ignition cylinder about a week earlier, and he had been getting rides to work ever since.

No security light, no crank-no-start, just a normal startup like the key had always been there.

Whole thing took about 35 minutes. He sat on his porch watching most of it, then just turned the key, heard the engine, and nodded. That was it. No tow, no waiting on parts, no second appointment. He drove to work the next morning with a key that worked like the original.
