I got a call from a guy parked in a covered garage near Downtown Santee. His 2010 BMW 5 Series had been sitting for a few weeks, and when he came back to it, the fob did nothing. He said the dealer had quoted him a number that made him put it off. I told him that's pretty common, and that my number was going to be a lot easier to say yes to.
Whole visit, start to finish, was about an hour. He had a working car and a plan for a backup key before I pulled out of the garage.
