His Remote Head Key, FCC ID OUC6000022, started the car on the first try. I cut him a spare too so he wouldn't be in this situation again.
The whole job took about 45 minutes and came out to around $185. Dealer would have been roughly $395 plus a tow and a Monday appointment. He drove home from that same beach lot with two working keys.
