Casa de Oro sits just east of La Mesa proper, and I get calls out there more than people might expect. This one came in on a weekday afternoon. The owner had a 2008 Lexus ES, and his fob had been acting up for a few weeks. Range was getting shorter. He stood there for a second and said something like "that's it?" That's it. He did not need a new fob, did not need programming, did not need to tow anything anywhere. The dealer would have started the conversation at a fob replacement. I started with the actual problem.
