Walked every button, tested passive entry at both front doors, confirmed the start button responded consistently, and checked that the mechanical emergency blade inside the fob was cut correctly to the vehicle.
He watched the whole thing. When the door handle unlocked on the first touch he just nodded like he'd expected it to take longer.
