A catering company owner called me just after 6 AM from a commercial kitchen near Fremont Square Shopping Center in Oxnard. She had a wedding reception to set up in four hours. Her 2011 A5 would not start, the loaded delivery vehicle was going nowhere, and she sounded like she was already running through backup plans in her head.

Her IYZFBSB802 smart fob was completely dead, and the emergency blade would not turn the HU66 door cylinder because the lock was gummed up with old dried grease. Two problems stacked on top of each other.
I used my Lishi HU66 to pick the door lock and get inside, then plugged into the OBD port to pull faults from the BCM2 module. The Comfort Access system had flagged a communication loss with the key. Popped the fob open and the CR2032 was reading under 2 volts, basically a paperweight. Fresh battery in, cleared the stored faults, ran a Comfort Access re-adaptation through the diagnostic tool, and tested every function: passive entry on both front handles, trunk release, push start, lock and unlock buttons.
Hands-on time was about 25 minutes. She was loaded up and heading to the venue by 6:50.
The whole thing was a dead battery and a sticky lock cylinder. No new key needed. Just the right diagnosis, done on-site, for a fraction of what a dealer visit plus a tow truck would have run her.
