I got a call from a gentleman in Moorpark, over in the Peach Hill area, who had his 2018 G90 sitting in covered parking and going nowhere. Retired, meticulous about his car, the kind of owner who keeps the service records in a folder.
His only fob had stopped being recognized. The dash was showing a key-not-detected warning every time he got in, and the push-button start would not respond. He had already called the dealer and was told to have it towed in. He called me next because the idea of a flatbed under his G90 did not sit right with him.
I told him to stay put.
Covered parking in Peach Hill on a weekday morning. I pulled up, confirmed the fob battery was not the culprit, connected to the OBD port, and ran the all-keys-lost procedure for the G90's immobilizer. The process has a timed sequence built into it. You do not rush it. While the countdown ran I replaced the CR2032 and checked the contact tension inside the fob housing, because a loose contact will cause intermittent failures that look like a programming problem.
New key registered. Touch unlock at both handles working. Start button responding. Done before the covered parking lot even warmed up.
He mentioned what the dealer quoted. I kept that part short because it was not the point. The point was he did not need a tow, he did not lose his morning, and the car was back in his hands in the same spot it had sat all morning. That is the job.

“Great service, decent price, even helped with some other issues I had which made it worth it (no one wants to fork over $ for locking their keys in the car). Will definitely call them again if need be.”
“Joe was chill employee and got the job done in no matter of minutes. Definitely would recommend!”
“My truck was more complicated than initially anticipated. Tim and crew were highly knowledgeable, patient and very kind during the process of getting my ignition cylinder and keys right. Their cost was completely reasonable. An excellent service, great guys!! Highly recommended”
