Push-to-start all-keys-lost is the job that worries Lexus owners the most. No key slot, no ignition barrel. The car needs to wirelessly detect a registered fob before it even powers on. When that fob is gone, the car feels completely dead, but it isn't.

I drove to the cabin. Push-to-start AKL on Lexus is more involved than a standard blade key job. The smart ECU sometimes needs to be accessed directly and old key data cleared before new fobs register. I used my ACDP to pull the EEPROM data as a backup, then ran AKL through OBD. His smart key, FCC ID HYQ14FBA, was a 4-button proximity fob.
His car started at a mountain cabin with no cell service and no tow access. Total was around 329. Dealer would have been 602 plus a long-distance tow. Smart key AKL on Lexus isn't dealer-dependent. It's tool-dependent.
