My key broke in the ignition. Can you get it out?▼

Yes. On the 2002 IS, the ignition cylinder is a conventional tumbler setup, so a broken key piece can be extracted without pulling the whole column apart. Once it's out, I either pull the key code from the door lock or decode it directly, then cut a new blade to match. The remote head key on this car is one integrated piece, so you're getting a full replacement rather than just a new blade anyway.
