I connected my IM608 to the OBD port, accessed the immobilizer through the 271451-5300 security controller, wiped the entire key memory so the stolen HYQ14AHC was erased from the system, and registered two fresh fobs from scratch. Then I decoded the lock cylinder, cut both emergency insert blades, and tested every button on both keys, doors, trunk, panic, lock, unlock, plus passive entry on both front handles and push-button start.
The stolen fob can still turn the physical door lock. But with its code erased from the immobilizer, the engine will never turn over for it. She drove home that night instead of waiting out the week.
