I got a call late on a weeknight from a guy parked at a rest stop just outside Sweetwater in National City. Long-haul trucker, between loads, first pickup of the next run was a couple hours out and early in the morning. His 2011 Durango would not respond to the fob at all. Not a dead battery situation either. He had already swapped in a fresh CR2032 and got nothing.

Then I checked the insert blade operation since that blade does real work on a Durango and I wanted to make sure the pivot was solid before he drove off.
He was back on the road in under an hour. The dealer had been his first call. Closed. He did not even bother looking for another one after that because he knew what that answer was going to be anyway.
