He landed after a red-eye, walked to the airport economy lot, and his 2014 Honda Pilot wouldn't respond to the key fob. The CR1616 battery in the remote was dead. He drove home that same morning. Total was about $185. The dealer would have been $395 plus $175 in towing and a Thursday appointment. He skipped all of that and was home before lunch.
