2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Transponder Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional

I got a call from a daycare worker in Lakeside who was running late for her shift. She walked out to her 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee in the daycare lot one morning and her fob was completely dead. Not the battery. The circuit board had failed. Push-to-start gave her nothing and she had a room full of toddlers counting on her being there in 20 minutes.

I got there in about 30 minutes. I plugged my IM608 into the OBD port and ran the Jeep security access sequence. While the system processed, I prepped the new fob and cut the emergency blade.
