A guy in Downtown El Cajon called me on a Tuesday. He was an electrician, trucks and tools everywhere, and his 1995 Wrangler had been giving him grief for a few weeks. I decoded the lock, replaced the worn wafers, and cut a fresh key matched to the rebuilt cylinder. He watched the whole thing. I laid the old wafers out so he could see exactly where the metal had given up. The new key slid in clean and turned without a hint of resistance.
