A Sikh temple committee member at the temple lot near Spring Valley Border Lg on a Sunday told me he'd already been burned. Another locksmith charged him full price for a 2010 Nissan Altima key that never programmed correctly. The car would crank but the immobilizer killed fuel injection after two seconds. The other tech told him the car had a module problem and left.

I cleared the failed key data, ran a clean IMMO learn with the full security timer, and confirmed the new key was written permanently. His fob, FCC ID KR55WK48903, had all 4 buttons working plus a clean start with no fuel cutoff. I showed him the confirmation on my screen so he could see it was fully registered this time.
He paid me $247. Dealer charges $427 for the same work. He'd already paid the first locksmith too, which I couldn't undo. But I could make sure the job was done correctly.
