2017 Nissan Altima Smart Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
A home inspector working out of The Bridges area of Rancho Santa Fe called on a Monday morning. He was parked in an apartment carport, had a full week of inspections lined up, and his Intelligent Key had stopped being detected. The car would not start.
He had already called the dealer. Wednesday was the earliest they could take the car, and that was assuming he could get it towed in. Two days of canceled appointments for someone billing by the job is not a scheduling inconvenience -- it is real money gone.
I was in the area and got to him that same afternoon.
I connected my programming tool, pulled the vehicle PIN with the session held open the whole time so the security system did not rotate it on me, and walked through the Intelligent Key registration sequence. Cut the blade to his vehicle, tested lock, unlock, and confirmed the engine started and stayed running. The whole job was done in the carport where he left the car.
He made his Tuesday appointments. He mentioned the dealer quote on his way out. I told him to call us next time before he called them. Same-day, on-site, for a fraction of what they wanted -- and no tow.
