His smart fob, FCC ID BAB237131-056, was a 3-button proximity key that I cut, chipped, and programmed on the spot.
His car started in the same beach lot. Total was $91. The dealer wanted $199 plus a tow and a multi-day wait. The whole process from lock decode to engine running took about 50 minutes. All-keys-lost sounds like a crisis, but on most Toyotas it is a routine field job with the right tools.
