A condo board president in Downtown Oxnard called me because she was stuck in a loop. Her 2020 TLX was parked on the lowest level of the building's underground garage. Low ceiling, tight turns, no flatbed access. The dealer told her to figure out how to get the car there first. She couldn't get the car there because she had no working key. Classic catch-22.

Her remaining fob was dead beyond a battery swap, the board inside had a hairline crack near the antenna coil. I pulled a fresh KR5995364 shell, transferred the emergency blade, and built the replacement right there on a parking bollard. Used my diagnostic tool through the OBD-II port to register the new 47 chip to the IMMO ECU on the A121 board. The TLX runs the same Honda immobilizer handshake as a Civic or Accord under all that Acura trim, so registration went clean.
Tested passive entry on both front doors and the trunk. Start button fired the J35Y6 on the first push. She stared at the dash for a second like she expected it to argue.
Thirty-five minutes, start to finish, and her car never moved. The dealer wanted her to get it towed in and wait days for an appointment. She drove out of that garage on her own.
