I pulled up to a property where a 2001 Lincoln Continental had been sitting for a few days because the owner had snapped her only key off in the door lock. The bow of the key was gone. The whole thing took about 45 minutes on her driveway.
She mentioned the dealer had quoted her a price that assumed a tow, because without any working key they wouldn't let her drive in. That tow quote alone was going to be a significant chunk. She didn't need any of that. The car started on the first try from her own driveway, and she didn't have to move it an inch to get there.
