Got a call from a guy in the Westlake Village area of Thousand Oaks. His 2005 Lincoln LS was sitting in his driveway with zero working keys. Since it was an all-keys-lost situation, the PATS module needed a full reset through the OBD port. That process has a timed security countdown built in, so we stood there talking about his landscaping project for a few minutes while the system cycled.
Tested all three buttons, started the car twice, locked and unlocked from a distance. He stood there watching the theft light on the dash finally go dark and just said, "That's it?"
That was it.
