2010 Porsche Cayman Smart Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
I was working near Carpinteria State Beach on a Tuesday afternoon when my phone rang. Oral surgeon, underground parking garage in Carpinteria. His 2010 Cayman was on sublevel 2 and it was not going anywhere. The smart key had gone completely dark, and the dealer's first instruction was to get the car to them. He could not move the car. I pulled immobilizer data through the OBD port, programmed a replacement fob to the car, and cut the emergency blade to match the door lock. Tested every button. Tested the start. Tested the door handles. The car never moved an inch until he drove it out himself.
The dealer quote assumed the car was already sitting in their service bay. It was not. Mine did not.
