A guy from Rose Park called me on a Tuesday morning. He was parked near the channel trail, about to head to work, and his 2024 XT6 just sat there. The start button would light up, the dash would flicker awake, and then nothing. No crank, no go. He had already looked up dealer availability out of curiosity. The nearest Cadillac store had told him a same-day appointment was not guaranteed and they would need to diagnose the system first, which sounded like a few hours minimum and a bill before they even confirmed the cause. He was genuinely surprised when I closed up the fob and said we were done.
