A welder called me from his driveway near Cross at Grant Park in Ventura one morning. He had a 2007 Dodge Nitro with one working key and wanted a spare before the original gave out on him somewhere inconvenient. He had already called the Dodge dealer. I decoded his driver door lock with my Y157 Lishi right there at the truck, read the wafer positions for an exact blade match, and cut the new key on my mobile machine.
His remote head key runs FCC ID OHT692427AA with the Sentry Key transponder chip inside. I connected through the OBD port, accessed the SKIM module, and registered the new key alongside his existing one. About 25 minutes from handshake to done.
He tested lock, unlock, panic, and trunk on the new remote, started the engine twice, handed me a nod, and went to work on time. No tow, no lost morning, no line items showing up after the quote.
