Saturday night in Ventura, over in the Westside neighborhood, a couple walked out of a karaoke spot and their 2000 Tiburon would not respond to anything. Clicking the remote, nothing. They figured the car was done for the weekend and started looking at rideshare prices.

I pulled a fresh HYN7R blank from the van, cut it to code on my mobile machine, and dropped it into a new remote head shell. Paired the remote, tested lock, unlock, and panic from 30 feet. Then I tested the ignition. Fired right up, first turn, no hesitation from the wafers.
They drove home that night instead of leaving a Tiburon in a parking lot until Monday. The whole thing took maybe 20 minutes. A dealer would have meant towing the car, waiting days for a parts order, and paying way more for the same result. I just had the right blank already in the van.
