Over in the Harvard Boulevard area of Santa Paula, an expecting mother flagged me down in a prenatal clinic parking lot. Before I even opened my tool bag, she asked for my license number. BSIS license LCO 6792. She wrote it down.

Cut the blade on the van, programmed the transponder and remote buttons, tested start and all four buttons in her hand.
She watched the whole thing from a folding chair her husband had stashed in the trunk. Took maybe 20 minutes.
