Over near Ojai Arcade, a guy with a 2013 Ram 2500 Laramie called me on a Saturday night. Push-to-start, zero keys. The RF hub module and the WIN (Wireless Ignition Node, Chrysler part number 56046736AI on many HD trims) both need to be addressed before the truck will recognize a new fob. I connected through OBD, ran a secure gateway bypass, pulled the immobilizer data as a backup with my ACDP, and programmed a fresh GQ4-53T with the Hitag2 / AES dual-crypto handshake these trucks run.
Cut the key blade on site, synced all five buttons including remote start, and had him press the start button. The Cummins turned over and he just stood there for a second, like he expected it to stall.
Whole thing took about 40 minutes in a parking lot. No flatbed, no Monday morning dealer visit, no multi-day wait. Just a working truck and a guy who got to drive home that night.
