He landed after a late flight, walked out to the economy lot in Ventura, and nothing happened when he approached the Touareg. No click, no lights, no door handle response. Just a dark SUV sitting there like it didn't know him.

He made his shoot. The dealer would have meant a tow, a two-day wait, and spending a lot more. He saved a good chunk and kept his schedule.
