Got a call from a woman at her office near Simi Valley Town Center on a Wednesday afternoon. She had a 2016 Touareg, one working key left, and she'd already lost the spare somewhere between her desk and the parking structure. Didn't want to risk being keyless.

When I pulled up, I started with the HU162T Lishi on her driver door to decode the ten-cut blade. That keyway is the same profile Audi runs on the B8 and B9 platforms, so the pick and decode tool is shared. Cut the blade on my mobile machine, checked it in the door and ignition cylinder by hand.
Then the software side. I connected through OBD with my IM608 Pro, ran the security login on the BCM2 module, pulled component protection data, and wrote the new Megamos AES transponder. The KR55WK45022 remote paired right after. Tested lock, unlock, and hatch release across the lot. Started the car three times cold. Everything responded clean.
She watched the whole thing from about four feet away, coffee in hand. At one point she said the dealer had quoted her days of wait time and wanted the car dropped off. This took 35 minutes in her parking spot.
