Got a call from a homeowner near Pole Creek Trail in Fillmore. His 2006 S80 was parked inside a gated community, and the tow company he called couldn't get through. The HOA required 48-hour advance approval for commercial vehicles, and the tow driver wasn't on the list. So the car just sat there.

The original LQNP2T-APU fob was dead in a way that swapping the CR2032 wasn't going to fix. The housing had a hairline crack near the blade pivot, and the board contacts were corroded from moisture getting in over time. Needed a full replacement key.
I pulled CEM data through the OBD port using my VVDI2, built a new 5-button flip key with a fresh shell and programmed transponder chip, cut the blade to match, and registered the fob to the car. The whole job happened in his driveway. His car never moved an inch.
He told me he'd been going back and forth with the HOA all morning trying to get the tow approved, and then with the dealer trying to get an appointment. They quoted him a multi-day wait just to get the key ordered. I was in and out before lunch.
