I was out near Mandalay Beach in Oxnard on a different job when a message came in. XC70 owner, needed a spare key made, had one working fob. She'd already texted me the VIN before I wrapped up, which is the move.

Start to finish, about 25 minutes in her driveway. The dealer had quoted her a wait of several days for parts and a full shop visit. She said she almost went that route. Glad she called first.
